Standard Reflector is all about fixing the stone silver flaps at the right angles to maximize flash output on one direction and forcing the light forward enroute to giving an increase of half a stop light to the speedlight.
The distance from the flash head to the diffuser is carefully calculated to create the random light needed for desire softness. The double layers diffuser provide even and greater soft light while retaining the details.
The grid cuts off random light, allows only straight light to emerge which is ideal for mood shots. The size of this grid is comparable to those of monoblock.
